AUSTRIAN MEDIUM CREATES SENSATION
FAMOUS SCIENTISTS PUZZLED. (United Press Association—By Cable— Copyright.] London, March 8. Famous scientists confess that they are mystified by phenomena produced at seances held with Rudi Schneider, an amazing Austrian medium, as the central figure. Schneider, aged 22, a motor mechanic by occupation, created successive sensations in his native land, apparently calling up at will the auras of departed relatives and friends and of noted dead. He was brought to England for investigation by noted scientists, whose report is being issued shortly. Strangely, Schneider is indifferent to his remarkable powers and desires to return to his ordinary occupation. Professor Pollard, one of the investigators. says he cannot account for the apparent phenomena. He witnessed 21 seances attended by 100 people.
Dr. Eugene Osty, of Paris, savs that Schneider was practically manacled, and rd was unable to move, yet he was able to produce phenomena in a manner disposing of any suggestion of fraud.
