FORD COMPANY’S WORKERS
WAGES TO BE RAISED. (United Press Association—By CableCopyright.) (Received 4, 10.20 a.m.) Washington, Dec. 3. ■ A report from Detroit states that following Mr. Henry Ford’s statement in Washington relative to his intention to increase wages, his son Edsel announced that the company will spend 20 million dollars a year to raise the wages of its workers, to become effective from December 1. The minimum scale is now increased from six to seven dollars a day.
