TOGARIRO NATIONAL PARK.— Inside this area, bounded by good motor roads, lies National Park. New Zealand’s winter playground, its varied scenery representative of all tho Dominion has to offer—-snow-clad peaks, native forests, foaming mountain torrents and waterfalls, steaming lakes and an active volcano. The Chateau, which was opened officially last, week, is shown in its central position at the northern foot of Mt. Ruapehu.
