Acid Thrown at Womens Three young women, one married, were burned about the legs and body by acid thrown last night at Wickham, near Newcastle, New South Wales. Their clothes were ruined. It is believed that sulphuric acid was used. A man has been detained on suspicion in connection with .the affair.
