WAR RELIEF
H.B. WAR ASSOCIATION. HASTINGS BRANCH. The fortnightly committee meeting of the Hastings branch of the Hawke’s Bay War Relief Association was held on Monday. Present: Messrs G. Ehhett (ohair), J H. Colebotirno, W Hart and H. Holderness. leave of absence was granted to Mr. W. J. White. Thirty-five returned soldiers’ cases worn considered. Grants totalling £lO3 were authorised and loans totalling £l2O were recommended to the provincial- executive of the association.
