H.B. AERO CLUB
AERODROME PASSED BY DIRECTOR PASSENGER FLIGHTS NOW TAKING PLACE The H.B. Aero Club’s De H. Moth aeroplane, under tho pilotage of Capt. Smith, is now busily engaged in conducting passenger flights from its spacious aerodrome at Longlands. The .aerodrome has been in spected by the Director of Air Services and passed by him as satisfactory, complying with all Government requirements. Flights may be hooked on any day between the hours of 9 o’clock and 5 o’clock at the office, Hastings, or on the ground. The Club has been formed with the primary object of establishing a school of flying, to train members in the art of flying, and generally fostering aviation in all its branches. Thanks to the generosity of several of its members the machine has been purchased and the Club hope shortly to be able to procure another machine. Those of the public who desire to take flights are reminded that by patronising the local Club's machine they will he materially assisting th-fi own district Club to become established on a sound financial basis.
