A hundred Wahabis hidden in the desert scrub ambushed two motors containing Mr. Charles Crane, the ex-American Ambassador in China and three others travelling to Koweit from Basra. A fusillade killed the Rev. Henry Rilkett. an American Presbyterian missionary. Tho others were not injured .and escaped.
