WAIPUKURAU SHOW

NEXT WEDNESDAY

A significant and pleasing sign of the improved outlook for the farming community at the present time is the very large increase in the entries for Waipukurau Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s show, which will be held on the Waipukurau racecourse on Wednesday next, January 23. The increase in entries covers all sections of the show’, and promises well for a really good show. Of horses there is always a very good lot at Waipukurau, but as this year’s figures, it indicates that the show in this section this year is likely to be exceptionally good. The competitions, too, will be more than usually fine, and all the other sections are likely to show considerable improvement. This is purlieu larly the case with the fat sheep and fat lamb classes, always a strong feature of this show. With record entries it only needs fine weather for the association to have a record show.
