Federal (Waihi), Jupp's Silver Band (Wellington), Granity Silver (Granity), Municipal Silver Band (Masterton), Municipal (Hawera), Ashburton Silver Band (Ashburton). Citizens’ Band (Hastings), Citizens' Band (New Plymouth), Municipal Band (Feilding), Ist Battalion Regimental Band (New Plymouth).
Petone Central Silver Band (Petone), Lower Hutt Municipal (Wellington), Municipal Band (Dannevirke), City Tramways (Dunedin), Municipal Band (Westport). All bands have entered for the respective grade, quicksteps and selections, also hymn contest.
