BAD CONDITIONS
UNFAVOURABLE WEATHER FOR TASMAN FLIGHT DR. KIDSON'S REPORT TO AIRMEN. CYCLONE MOVES EASTWARDS. (Per Press Association.] Wellington, September 5. That the weather conditions over the Tasman still continue to be against the crossing by air, is evidenced by Dr. Eidson’s message sent at noon to the airmen, as follows:— “Cyclone has moved eastwards, Expect winds to back to north everywhere, increasing again to gale force, and weather very unsettled. In view of conditions in the west Tasman Sea regard situation as very unfavourable.”
