The Hastings Chamber of Commerce recently obtained a large map of Empire trade routes, which was intended to bo displayed during Empire marketing week. The size of the map, however, which occupied 12 sheets and had a total area of IBft by lift, prevented its being shown to advantage in any of tho business promises in the town. It was therefore handed over to the High School, where it now occupies one of the walls. The map is admirably executed, in modern decorative style nnd is u distinct ornament to this fine building. besides having considerable educational value. It was published by the British Department of overseas trade.
