NOT TO BE CLOSED. GOOD NEWS FOR WAIPUKURAU. For some time past there have been fears locally that the Waipukurau Dental Clinic would be closed down for a lengthy period in order to enable Nurse Rood to devote all her attention—instead of part—to Waipukurau and district demands. However, the pleasing information has been tendered to the Mayor (Mr. R. McLean) bv the member for the district (Sir George Hunter), who was waited on by a deputation lately on the subject by representatives of the Borough Council and Chamber of Commerce, that there is no intention <”> the part of the Department of Health to close the local clinic.
