LADY CARROLL SHIELD G AME. Dannevirke, Aug. 8. The first challenge match this season for the Lady Carroll. Shield was played to-day at Dannevirke between Wairoa (challengers) and RuahiueDannevirke (defenders). The latter proved too strong for Wairoa, whom they defeated by .three goals (scored) by D. Foreman two and R. Loader) to one (scored) by R. Joaos).
