A. THIAN WINS CHAMPIONSHIP Chriitohuroh, Aug. 7. Tlie cla v pigeon championship of New Zealand, of £lOO and a gold medal, held at Lakeside to-day, in a brisk, south-west wind, was won by A. Thian (Ellesmere dub), who shot 20 out of a possible 21. H. M. Wright (Christchurch) and T. S. Harrison (Methven), with 19 on, divided second and third money.
