“THE ARCADIANS”
NAPIER OPERATIC SOCIETY. One of the most outstanding performances by amateur societies in Hawke’s Bay is that of “The Arcadians,’’ which has drawn ciowded houses for the last three nights in the Napier Municipal Theatre. Tonight sees the final performance of this bright and tunefu] opera, and it is expected another crowded house will result. The principals include many Hawke’s Bay artists of note, of which Mrs F. S. Budd, of Hastings, in the leading comedy part of “Mrs Smith,’’ has proved a popular artipt and lives the part to perfection. Railway ’buses leave Napier after the performance for the convenience of Hastings patrons.
