SECRETARY ARRESTED
ALLEGED FAILURE TO ACCOUNT FOR MONEYS. A REMAND GRANTED. [Per Press Association.] Rotorua, May 29. Leslie Vickers, a well-known resident and secretary of various con; cerps, was arrested on a charge of failing to account for the sum of £6 19/4. The police asked and obtained a remand on the grounds that other sums aggregating a large amount were alleged to be involved. Bail was granted in self £5OO and two sureties of £250.
