The New Zealander i s bound to do his best to win and. with his brothers present, will he all th© more eager to secure the, title. “The Sun’s” Gisborne correspondent states that Jack Heeney is endeavouring to secure a fight as a preliminary to the main contest between his brother and Tunney. All New Zealand will await the result of Tom Heeney’s fight, and with n brother on the same programme still further interest is sure to be evinced. Jack Heeney last appeared in the ring at Wairoa on October 18. 1927. when he defeated Dick Loveridge o n points in 10 rounds. Whether he will be able to emulate his brother in the American ring, if he secures a match, remains to be seen.
