LANCASTER-MILLER FLIGHT ENDED WELCOMED AT LANDING STAGE FIRST WOMAN TO MAKE TRIP FROM ENGLAND BY AIR. [By Cable — Preu Ann. — Copyright.] (Received 20, 9.10 a.m.) j .Darwin, March 20. Immediately the arrival of Captain Lancaster and Mrs. Miller became known, a fleet of motor cars proceeded to the landing ground to welcome them. Mrs. Miller is the first woman to make the trip from England to Australia by air. They passed through misty rain on most of the latter part of the journey. An overnight cable stated: Captain Lancaster and Mrs. Miller arrived at Darwin many hours ahead of schedule.
