SKINNING RABBITS ALIVE.
(To The Editor.) Sir, — I see in the last issue of the “Auckland Weekly News” that, through the agency of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. “a man (?) has been fined £6 for skinning a rabbit alive, the Magistrate remarking that he was getting off lightly.” At this rate. £5 per rabbit- what would be the cost of skinning alive such a very sporting gentleman?— I am, etc., F. L. M. Hastings, 19th March. 1928.
