EECUTIVE COMMITTEE. MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Ekecutive Committee of the Hawke's Bay A. and P. Society was held in Napier to-day, Mr R. H. Todd presiding over a fair attendance of members. Leave of absence was granted to Messrs C. A. Williams. C. E Twist, J. H Coleman, T. Jowsey, H. M. Glazezbrook and H. Gascoyne. After a short discussion it was agreed to pay to the Hastings branch of the Farmers’ Union the society's share of the actual cost incurred by the Commission to investigate the Howard Estate in connection with the proposed farm school. On the suggestion of the Hastings Jersey Breeders’ Association, it was decided to delete from the schedule and to include (1) a class fur pedigree Jersey bull calf eligible fo r if.c stud book and which must be bred by and lie the property of the exhibitor; and (2) a maiden class for pedigree Jersey heifer calf eligible for the stud book and to he the property of the exhibitor. It was decided to write thanking. Miss B. Anderson, of Kereru, for a donation of £2 to be allocated to the home industries section, and also Mr Newbigin. inr., for donating the medal for the dog trials'
