RECIPIENTS TAKE THINGS EASY
(Received 30 . 9.20 am.) London. August 29. Inspectors visiting the home orcipients of Poor Law relief in Jarrow found 300 contentedly resting when they should have been out seeking work. Some were in bed reading sporting newspapers.—(A. and N.Z.)
