The New Zealanders’ match against Bedfordshire has been abandoned owing to rain. Bowling Analysis: Bernau 0 for 12, McGirr 0 for 7, Merritt 5 for 18, Alcott 0 for 11. CABR INDISPOSED. (Received 26, 11.40 a.m.) London, Aug. 25. A serious indisposition has compelled Carr, the ex-English captain, to give up cricket for the remainder of the season.
