ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.
VISITING SCHOOLBOYS BEATEN. Wellington, Aug. 24. The Australian Schoolboys’ Soccer team played its first game of the New Zealand tour to-day, when it was beaten by three goals to one by a Wellington schoolboys’ team. Mallinson scored all three goals for Wellington and Follett scored 1 for Australia. The game was a good exhibition, with many lost chances by both teams.
