WEDDING

MA WBON—BRADLEY. A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised in St. Joohn’s Cathedral, Napier, last night at half-past seven when Miss Kathleen Bradley, eldest daughter oi Mr and Mrs H. T. Bradley, of 7 Thompson road, Napier, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Winter Mawson, son of Mr and Mrs T. Mawsftn, of ~ '.luniiri Waipawa. The ceremony was performed by the I err Kev. Beau slay ue, while Mr P. W. Tombs officiated at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a 'rock of pink georgette, flared with silver lace, worn over pink and silver. .She wore a pink veil crowned with oruiige blossoms and carried a bouquet of white and silver, i"*" ide was attended by her sister, Miss Barbara Bradley, who wore a pretty little frock of while georgette over pink, shirred at the waist, and hat of silver lace and tissue, while she carried a bouquet of pink and silver. She also wore a wristlet watch, t.he gift of the bridegroom. The duties of best man were ably carried out by Mr Alan Loudoun, of Napier. Mrs Bradley wore a black moire coat over a dress of black charmeuse and lace, with a hat of a smiliar colour trimmed with roses. She carried a bouquet of pink, shading to rose. Mrs Mawson, the mother of the bridegroom, wore a black frock of georgette and silver lace and carried u bouquet of violets. The church was charmingly decorai ed by friends of the bride in pink and .green, while there was a similar decorative scheme at fhe house of the brid,e where a quiet reception was held after the ceremony, only relativs and friends of the newly-married couple being in attendance. The happy pair later left on their honeymoon, the bride wearing a deep rose coat over bois de rose frock of crepe de chine, a beige hat and a rox fur, the gift of the bridegroom.
