FASCISTS IN GERMANY
INTERRUPTED TRAIN JOURNEY INGLORIOUS ENTRY INTO BERLIN. Berlin, Aug. 22. A special train conveying 435 adherents of the Fascist Natioti Socialistic party from Nurmburg, where they had held celebrations, suddenly stopped in a lonely spot outside Berlin. The train was immediately surrounded by a cordon of 250 police who ordered the Fascists to afight and enter 36 motor lorries on the roadside and, under armed guards, the Fascists made an inglorious entry into Berlin. After being searched for arms and documents they were allowed to proceed to their homes. In the meantime, crowds of supporters were awaiting the arrival of the train and were amazed to find it empty.—(A. and N.Z.)
