HAWKE'S BAY SPRING SHOW.

SCHEDULE OF CLASSES. The schedule for the Hawke’s Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society's forthcoming Spring Show, which is to take place on Wednesday and Tliurs day, October 19 and 20, has now Been issued, and attention is called to the many new features that have been added since the last show. In addition to the new classes that have ncen added, a number of new cups and tro phies have been added also. Of the cups won outright in the draught horse section, Aberdeen Angus cattle section and the boys’ pony leaping match, these have all been renewed and cups have been added for ladies’ qualified hunter (horse, gear, and rider’s turnout), champion harness horse best grade or crossbred dairy cow, and for the horse gaining most points in the ladies’ leaping match. The Wheeler Memorial Shield and Gold Medal for champion leaping match has also been alloted for competition at the society’s forthcoming Spring Show. Competitors in the nack classes will not that with the exception of the military horses and heavy weight hacks, Horses may be ridden by either a lady of gentleman. They will also note that several of the hack classes are to be judged on the first day. In tending exhibitors who have not yet received a copy of the schedule may procure same free of charge on application to the secretary (Mr A. M. Retemeyor), Tennyson street Napier or copies maybe obtained from Messrs Wilkinson and Jones, Queen street, Hastings.
