Albert Cox, charged in Christchurch with the theft of the Mayor’s coat from the Council Chambers, was discharged without, conviction by Mr. E. I). Moseley, S.M., to-day, on condition that he took out a prohibition order. The accused’s record of service in the Navy and Army dates back to 1881.—-Press Assn.
