WEDDING.

DISBROWE— WILLIAMS A wedding of interest to New Zealanders took place at Bromptou Parish Church, London, on July 11. the bride being Lois Gwendoline, youngest daughter of Mr G. C Williams, of “Rangitapu,” Hawke's Bay. New) Zealand, and the bridegroom Lieut, Edward Francis Disbrowe. R.N., son of the Rev. C. P, Disbrdwe and Mrs Disbrowe. Spilsbv, Lincolnshire. The officiating clergv were the Revs. C. P Disbrowe and Prebendary Gough, vicar of Holv Trinity Church, Brompton road. The bride, who was given awav by her cousin. Mr H. B. Williams. “Turihuia,” Qisborne, New Zealand, was attired in a gown of ivory satin charmeuse.. the skirt draped with French point lace and georgette, the round neck bein" embroidered in pearls, fine silver thread, and diamante worked on georgette, with long flowing sleeves to match. The court train was of silver lame trimmed with festoqns of georgette held by sprays of orange blossom and lined with shell pink crepe chiffon. Her tulle veil was worn beneath a wreath of orange blossom, a long trail falling down the back of the gown to the train. The bouquet carried was of pale pink and cream roses. ,

New Zealand, wore apricot pink georgette frocks, trimmed with silver, and head-dresses of silk net and crimson velvet leaves, and carried bouquets of crimson carnations
