LECTURE TO-MORROW NIGHT. Mr A. Ernest Mander. of Victoria University College, will lecture tomorrow (Thursday) night at 8 o’clock in Wesley Hall, Hastings, upon “Galileo and the Discovery of the Universe.” The discoveries of modern science have greatly modified and, in many instances, revolutionised. man’s life and knowledge und outlook. Galileo’s great woik in helping to lay the foundations of modern astronommical research will provide the subject matter for a wonderfully enlightening lecture tomorrow night, and a crowded audience is anticipated.
