MAORI ARTS & CRAFTS
MEMBERS OF BOARD ENTHUSIASTIC. Wellington, August 17. The Hon. R. F. Bollard stated today that great enthusiasm is being displayed by members of the Maori Arts and Crafts Board. A site has been selected for the first Maori School of Art in Rotorua on a portion of the Government Sanatorium grounds at present lying idle. The erection of buildings and the lay-out of the grounds will be in conformity with the sourroundings. The area is about 10 acres, mrd the buildings will include a marae for public receptions.
