CRICKET.
COACH FOR TARANAKI. New Plymouth, Aug. 16. A prominent English cricketer, A. A. Wilson, of Yorkshire, has been chosen as coach, for the northern division of the Taranaki Cricket Association for next season, and will arrive in September. Wilson, who is 47 years of age, comes of a great cricketing family, with a record in the Yorkshire Club. Since the war he has played League cricket, in wmeh ne Has topped the batting averages.
