A BROADCASTING MATTER
POSTMASTER-GENERAL’S RULING.
Auckland, Aug. 17. A storm of protest aghinst the refusal of the Radio Broadcasting Company to broadcast the address of Mr. C. C, Munro, ex-president of the Auckland provincial branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, was raised at a meeting of the executive. It was stated that the company, after asking for the address, refused it, mid the Postmaster-General endorsed the refusal, saying the matter Was unsuitable for broadcasting. tt wiiS decided th inform the Post-master-General that his reply was unsatisfactory and to outline for his benefit the views expressed at the meeting.
