RIFLE SHOOTING.
OKAWA DEFENCE CLUB,
The above club held the third shoot for the Vice-President’s Gold Medal over the week-end, ten shots and two sighters. The weather conditions were fairly good, although at times there was a changing light which made sighting very hard. The best card, for the day was handed in by Rifleman E. E. Rivers, who is to be congratulated on his good shooting. Some of the members of the Napier Club journeyed out and spent the day in shooting. This is to be encouraged as it helps to strengthen the bonds of good-fellowship, which already exists between th eclubs.
