Als.i ran: 4 San Pedro. 2 Sunny Loch, 5 Beauty Light, 7 Rangiawhio, Won very easily by six lengths, half a length between second and third, lime, 3.7 2-5.

Lincoln Steeplechase.—2 Tuki I, 7 Vice Grand 2, 4 Peter Maxwell 3. Also ran: 3 Passin’ Through. 2 Kipling (coupled with the winner), 5 Zircon. 6 Kapuna. Charlatan lost hi s -rider at the brush entering the straight on the first round when racing with Kapuna in the lead. Passin’ Through set out in chase ot Kapuna and caught him at the fence where Charlatan had fallen on the first round and there Kapuna lost his rider. Passin’ Through was leading by 100 yards when he shook his rider out at the last fence, leaving Tuki, whose position had looked hopeless earlier in the race, to win by a dozen lengths, four lengths between second and third. Time, 6.10 2-5.

Heathcote Handicap.—7 Royal Game 1, 4 Indian Sage 2, 5 Royal Mint 3 Also ran: 1 Fairy Herald. 2 Assurance, 3 Taboo. 6 Cliickwhenr. 8 Joy Bird, If) Mah Jong. 9 Gold Mint, Won bv three lengths, with half a head between second and third. Time, 1.47 4-5.

Redcliffs Handicap 4 Cornstalk 1,2 Royal Head 2, 3 Grand National 3. Also ran: 5 Fairy Tidings, 1 Rowley, 7 Beaming. 6 Gaybird, 8 Martian Spear. Won by half a length, a head between second and third. Time, 1.34.

Selwyn Handicap.—7 Solferite 1, 8 Solrose 2, 5 Nadarino 3.
