LONG DISTANCE RECORD
Helsingfors. August 12 A Finnish railwayman. Hamaelaeninen. claims the world’s long distance swimming record, covering 52 kilometres in 26hr 15 min. in Lake Ladoga, accompanied bv a motorboat.—(A. and N.Z.)
