RIFLE SHOOTING.
OKAWA DEFENCE CLUB. DEP.-PRESIDENT’S GOLD MEDAL The third round for the DeputyPresident’s Gold Medal will be fired during the week-end over ranges 600 and 700 yards. 10 shots and two sighters. This is the first time in the club's history that an endeavour has been made to interest the members in winter shooting and judging on the two matches fired it is going to prove most popular. The conditions for the Vice-Presi-dent’s Gold Medal are five matches over 600 and 700 yards, 10 shots and two sighters, the best three cards to count, so it behoves any member who has not yet faced the starter to turn up this week-end and thus enable them to compete in the three matches yet to be fired and thus giving them a chance for the medal. The leading scores for the two matches already fired are as follows:

Anyone not included in this list will be handicapped on the range. Bus leaves at 9.30 a.m. sharp.
