COMPENSATION FOR INJURIES. COLLISION - WITH A ’BUS. Auckland, Aug. 11. A Supreme Court jury awarded damages of £490 to Joseph James Hoe, of Puni, a farmer, in respect of a claim to recover £lOO4 from YV. J. YVheeler and Sons, 'bus proprietors, of ‘Greenline. for injury caused by the defendants’ vehicle colliding with him and the horse he was riding at a bend on the road from Puni to Paerata.
