FURTHER REMANDED.
CHARGE AGAINST FOSTER. THEFT OF MAIL BAG. Wellington, July 14. A further remand was granted today in the case in which Joseph Foster is charged with the theft of a mail bag containing £lO,OOO from a London-bound express. The magistrate. Mr. W. G. Riddell, gave his decision regarding bail, saying it was not usual to grant it m cases where extradition proceedings were being taken, and there were other factors also to be taken into consideration.
