Good Work Being Done.
COLLAPSE WOULD BE DISASTER A BISHOP’S VIEWS. (Per Press Association.) Christchurch, July 14. Speaking last evening Bishop West-Watson said: “The League of Nations is interested not only in preventing war. The members of it are bound in idealistic adventure. “Th«y have taken weaker nations under their guardianship and they are striving to prevent slavery and the white slave traffic, which the nations cannot grapple with
piecemeal. “The League is facing the opium traffic and it is facing the world’s labour problems. Its collapse to-day wgeild be a disaster reverbating throughout the whole world.”
