TO-DAY’S CASES. * At the Napier Court to-day. before Mr A M. Mowlem. S.M.. the following cases were dealt with :— PASSING STANDING TRAM. For passing a stationarv tram. J McGregor was fined £2 and 30s costa. NO LIGHTS. Cars without lights cost William n allaee Cook and Henry James Priestley 10s and 10g costs each. 1' i ank Byrne, for a lightless cvcle. was similarly mulcted, while the fine for Paul Kurufio and Thomas Leadbetter who drove lightless trans, was log and 10s costs. NEGLIGENT DRIVING. John Halpin (Mr L. A. Rogers) pleaded not guilty to a charge of driving a motor van negligently at Port Ahuriri, he having collided with a motor tractor which was coming out of Williams and Creagh’s yards. After hearing evidence Hin Worship convicted and fined defendant £2 and 15/- costs.
