A BARQUE ARRESTED.
WRIT NAILED TO MAINMAST. Auckland, April 10. The American barque Guy C. Goss, which -arrived here on March 25 with a million feef of timber, has been arrested on an order of the Supreme Court ,the writ being nailed to the mainmast by the bailiff this morning. It is stated that £l5OO is required to pay the wages of the captain, officers and crew, and the fares for their return to America. The ship is for sale, and the owners have drawn all freights, and as the money was unobtainable from the consignees the ship was arrested.
