TAKAPAU CLUB. The Takapau links were opened for the season on Saturday with the usual mixed four ball game, visitors from the neighbouring chibs participating. Cards handed in were as under:— Mrs. P. J. Sanders and Bishop, 1 up; Miss Inglis and Caughley, all square; Mrs. McDonnell and Stevens, all square; Mrs. Bruce and Callender, 1 down; Mrs. Hobson and Dixon. I down; Miss Signall and Witherow. 2 down; Miss Allwood and 3 down; Miss Ferguson and Stubbs, 3 down ; Mrs. A’Deane and Reid, 4 down; Miss Craig and Clark 4 down; Miss Cuthbertson and Hobson. 4 down; Mrs. Bayliss and Beecher, 4 down.
