Sydney, Mar. 26. The breaking of the drought in the pastoral areas was reflected at the Homebush (Sydney) sheep sales, where supplies, which were very hcQ,vy during th drought period, fell below the requirements. Prices jumped 5s to 10s per head. PARLIAMENT PROROGUED. Sydney, Mar. 26. The New South Wales Parliament has been prorogued to June. This has created a peculiar position in connection with Mr Shand’s succession to Mr Fitzsimmons in the Cumberland seat.
