SUFFERING AND DEATH New York, Dec. -6. A cold wave .struck .many parts of the country to-day, bringing suffering and death in its wake. The storm, which started cast hym Kansas on Thursday morning, bringing a cold wave, was central oil Nova Scotia coast this morning and was continuing out to sea. Weather reports showed below zcie temperatures as tar south as 'he niiddle portions of the States bordering on the Gulf of Mexico.
