THE PRAYER FOR IRELAND. London, Dee. 22. The King’s Speech at the prorogation of the Ulster Parliament stated that he was deeply gratified at the London agreement and prayed that the relations of the Ulster and Free State Parliaments and people would he cemented in a spirit of good will find friendship. , Referring to preference the Speech stated that further preferences to Empire goods had been accorded by legislation, and other measures for the development of Empire trade were receiving close consideration by the Government. Parliament was prorogued till February 2.—(A. and N.Z.)
