Slater and Co., Ltd., of Hastings, on the eve of her marriage, was mot by th o head of the firm and the staff a few evenings ago, when Air. F. H. Slater presented her with a handsome silver tea service from the staff, as a mark of their esteem during her long connection with the firm. Air. C. H. Slater, on behalf of the company, presented her with a handsome cheque and all joined in drinking her health and in wishing her every happiness and prosperity in her futuie life.
