LADIES’ PIPE BAND
DETAINED IN NEW ZEALAND. Auckland, Doc. 22. Six under-age members of the Australian Ladies’ Pipe Band were prevented from proceeding to Canada by tho Aorangi to-day. the authorities insisting on tho production of the written consent of their parents allowing them to travel. These must bo obtained from Australia, which moans that the whole hand will stop over a month. The stimated delay will cost them £6OO.
