INFANTILE PARALYSIS.
MILD EPIDEMIC AT SYDNEY. (Received 22, 10.10 a.m.) Sydney, Dec. 22. 1 here is a mild outbreak of infantile paralysis in the city and suburbs, but so far there has only been one death. Ihe medical authorities expect an epidemic within the next two months, and supplies of serum are being sent from Melbourne. . It is proposed to make a house to rz. use canvass of parents whose children recovered from the previous epidemic and ask them to allow small qualities of blood to be taken from the children, as it contains an antidote to the disease, which can bo used for tno treatment of those affected by the present outbreak.
