GT. LEONARD'S WIN THE SHIELD HASTINGS BEATEN IN THE FINAL Playing on Bluff Hill green, St. Leonard’s defeated Hastings and carried off the Shield by four points. Godber’s team was two points down to Bayliss (Hastings), but Sutherland’s team played excellent howls and led the other Hastings team by six points at the end. All the contestants were most enthusiastic over tho condition of the Bluff Hill green.
