ANTI-CHRISTIAN OUTBREAK AT SWATOW.
(Received 19. 9.45 a.m.) Shanghai, Dec. 18. Anti-Christian activity among students at Swatow to secure Government control of the schools and the expulsion of missionaries therefrom culminated in an attempt by a mob to wrecit tiie English Presbyterian School, and also the Anglo-Chinese College. The damage is estimated at £25,000.-— (Sydney “Sun” cable).
